"description":"The WV GIS Technical Center compiled a statewide mosaic of best available digital elevation models (DEM). Data sources include SAMB/USGS NED 2003 statewide DEM and multiple countywide and regional lidar-based DEM data sets. A table of source product specifications and a graphic depicting the footprints of the various sources is viewable here   In order to preserve the resolution of the best quality data, lower resolution data sets were resampled to 1-meter before being mosaicked with the native 1-meter DEMs available for eastern portions of the state.
