Service Description: The WV State Hazard Mitigation Officer (SHMO) in the WV DHSEM funded the generation of statewide Hazus Level 1 1% annual chance flood loss estimation. As part of this analysis a 1% annual chance depth grid raster was created. While less accurate than more formal HEC_RAS models, the Hazus L1 depth grid nonetheless provides a generalized estimation of depth where none would otherwize be available.
