Utility Line layers contain the location of existing and proposed water or sewer utility lines which were provided to the IJDC. Not all utilities have provided line location information and not all line location data provided to the IJDC is of high quality. Users with specific needs should contact the IJDC for details. Key fields are: Utility which indicates the name of the utility associated with a given feature; Status which indicates “In service” (active use), “Proposed” (a project is under review to install the feature), “Under Construction” (feature is currently being installed), “Terminated” (feature was proposed for installation but project was not pursued), and “Not in service” (feature had been deactivated from use). |
