Geocoding Service - The Statewide Addressing and Mapping project has resulted in the creation of many important GIS datasets, including point structure data and road centerline data. With the cooperation of The WV Emergency Management Division, the counties of West Virginia, and WV Statewide Addressing and Mapping Board, the West Virginia GIS Technical Center has leveraged these two datasets to create three geocoding services for West Virginia. These locator services utilize both address point locations and addressed road data. The WV Addressing Location Services are updated annually. Last updated 03/02/2023.
